Lottery Business Tips Starting Out
So you've signed up as an affiliate with e-lottery and you want to
get started straight away, telling people about it and how it works, and
how they could be playing for free themselves! The FIRST thing I would
advise to do is get some business cards printed out with your name
number and e-lottery website address! This way when you tell people you
are armed with a copy of your all important web address which they an
take away and look at in the comfort of their own home! Printing your
business cards is very easy, many shopping centres have those "print
your own business card's" machines, which allows you to print as little
as 50 business cards for a reasonable price!
Offline Application Forms!
Not everyone is comfortable entering their credit card details
online, or you will come across some people who want to join an
e-lottery syndicate but don't have access to the internet. The best
thing for you to do is to carry around a couple of e-lottery application
forms on your person, you can download one
here as a PDF, remember to
fill in the top of the form with your name and affiliate membership number where
required so e-lottery can know who introduced a new player and can pay
you your comission! Even offer to post the form for them, what's the price of a
stamp when you will be earning £1 commission each week!
eBay 10p listing days!
eBay is a great tool for advertising as long as you stay within
their rules! If you join e-lottery through my website I will send you a
re-edited copy of my e-book
"How
to play the lottery for free" so that the relevant links in the PDF
point to YOUR e-lottery website. this way you can offer to sell
your version of this e-book on eBay for 1pence and put a link to your
e-lottery website in you eBay description and a contact email so people
can contact you for more information. This way you are not breaking any
eBay rules because you are offering to sell things, but you are also
getting potentially 100's of people looking at your advert every day!
And the best time to put a listing on eBay is 10p listing day! that's 10
listings for a pound! its the most cost effective advertising I have
found so far!
Tell your barber/ hair stylist!
When you are telling people about the e-lottery syndicate system and
the affiliate scheme, there are certain people who will open up a
massive gateway for potential customers for you! Barbers and hair
stylist speak to loads of people every week and its the perfect setting
to generate some word of mouth advertising. Have some business cards
handy so he/she can pass them on for you. Or on the other hand your
barber/stylist may want to become an affiliate, which is perfect for you
because the will potentially sign up many people through the nature of
their work and not only will you earn commission from
your/barber/stylist, you will also earn commission from their clients
too! Its a win win situation!
Buy your own web address
If you want your own web address instead to direct people to your
e-lottery website, its much easier and cheaper than you may think. There
are many websites, selling domain names, personally I use
www.easily.co.uk who I found
to provide an excellent service, and their website is easy to navigate
too. All you need to do is see if the web address is available by doing
a search on the website and if you find a name you want its a few simple
steps of filing in the form and buying the name online. So say for
example you bought
www.play-euromillions4free.co.uk you could then point this
address to your e-lottery website which probably looks like:
www.v-w-d.com/123456AB so
all you need to do is sign into easily, or wherever you bought your
domain name from, and go to your control panel, you will probably find
several options but one will be called, web forwarding, or URL
forwarding, this means whatever you type in the web forwarding box, when
you type in
www.play-euromillions4free.co.uk into your browser it will redirect
you to whatever web address you typed into the web forwarding box which
will probably be your e-lottery affiliate web page! So now you can print
on your business cards a much better looking web address and it directs
people to your e-lottery web space!
Incentives!
Incentives are a great way to get results, and have a little
competitive fun at the same time. Every now and again I will offer a
prize to all of the affiliates who signed up to e-lottery through
eurolotterywinner.com such as:
"For the next 10 days, for each affiliate you sign up you could win a
prize of £5 per affiliate and the person who has signed the most
affiliates maintained for 2 month wins!" So if you sign up 20 affiliates
you would earn, your commission, £20 per week and you would win £100
from eurolotterywinner.com, a signed cheque delivered straight to your
door!
Money Saving Tips
Become self employed
A really good way of saving money is by
paying less tax, on an average wage of £20,000 you would pay around
£3000 to the tax man! If your circumstances permit, it is well advisable
that you register as self employed and deal with paying your own tax.
This way you can claim work related expenses against what you earn and
pay less tax. Or you could pay a good accountant to look after your
earnings and you could potentially end up paying no tax at all!
The first step is to ask your current employer if they will pay you your
full wage and let you be responsible for paying your tax and national
insurance. If your employer is willing to do this the next step is to
find a good accountant and have a meeting with them and explain what you
are wanting to achieve. Accountants fees can be expensive but they
generally can save you much much more than what they charge!
How a 5 minute walk per day saved
me nearly £1000
Do you drive to work and use a pay by the hour car park? I worked
out that I was spending between £700 and £1000 a year on parking fees! I
had got into a habit of using the same car park and putting my 4.20 in
to cover me for the day not realising actually how much it was costing
per year until I reviewed all of the ticket machine stubs I had
accumulated in my glove box! So I decided to have a walk around one day
and search for those dirt cheap £1 for all day or even free parking
spaces. I eventually found a free place to park which was secure and
legal and only 5 minutes walk away from where I wanted to be!
Internet Service Providers, Sky TV, insurance, and your mobile phone!
Chances are you probably have one or all of the above, do you want
to know the secret of how you could knock £££'s off your bills and still
get the same or sometimes better service? First of all your mobile
phone, mobile phones are big business and the war to keep customers from
leaving and switching services has raged on for years. If you are with
an independent retailer such as the Carphone Warehouse, Phones4u or one
of the other independent retailers they want you to switch networks
because every time you do, they make commission on signing up a new
customer to a new network but don't loose any money for letting a
customer leave there previous network. This is NOT what the network
providers want, they want you to stay with them indefinitely and will
offer you all sorts of fantastic deals which are not known about in the
public domain (knowledge is power don't you know!). So the next time
your contract is up for renewal, go straight to the network provider you
are with now. If its orange, go to the orange shop, O2 go to the O2 shop
and so on, and tell them they you contract is up for renewal but you
were thinking of going to another network, what can they offer you to
stop you getting a better deal elsewhere? You'll be surprised on what is
available after a 5minute conversation with a decent shop assistant, you
could potentially half your bill, and double your usage allowance!
Believe me they WANT you to stay with them and they can afford to give
you a better deal!
Its exactly the same with SKY TV, insurance companies and ISP's if you
call them up and say you want to leave because you can get a better
service, they will probably put you through to another section of
customer services I call them "sweeteners" because these people are
trained to keep customers happy so they don't leave. These are the
people who can give you those killer deals. Just tell them straight, I
can get a better deal with so and so and its this much cheaper, what can
you offer me? and you will get results, which could potentially save you
£££'s a year!
Morning Coffee - that's where your fiver went!
Do you work near a Starbucks or another large coffee house chain,
where you will regularly buy a coffee before you go to work on a
morning? You buy a large coffee, maybe a cookie and then proceed to the
till and pay a little under £5 for a drink and a snack!. Its an easy
habit to get into and after a while you take it for granted that your
going to spend a relatively large percentage of your days wage on a
drink and a snack! If you want to save yourself some cash cut down on
the coffee! To put it into perspective, say a coffee and a cookie costs
£3.80 and you get that 3 times a week, that's £11.40 per week it doesn't
sound to much right? Until you work out how much it is costing you for
the year! £592.80! yes, that's right, nearly £600 spent on coffee in a
year!! I'm not saying cut it out all together, because I know how good a
hot coffee in the morning on a cold day can be! But be aware what it can
cost once you get into the morning coffee buying habit!
Investing
Where do you keep your money? Do you have some savings which you
don't want to touch for a few years? If you have then its an ideal
opportunity to invest, there are may investment packages available to
the general public these days, high risk, low risk, alternative, bonds,
etc. If you leave your money in a high interest account you can earn a
reasonable amount of interest depending on the amount of cash you have.
Alternatively you may want invest in something a little risky but with
the potential gains significantly higher. Or you could buy gold coins or
other precious metal and keep hold of them for the long term on the
premise of the price of that metal going up! there are may different
forms of investing where you can potentially earn a much higher amount
than a decent savings account can pay you in interest. Over the past
couple of years the MAN Group investment company has performed well, as
has the price of gold which has seen significant rises! It is good to
arm your self with the knowledge of these various types of investment
vehicles available to you, but be aware, as well as all of the huge
potential gains there is a risk that you will loose a percentage
or all of what you put in! If your interested do a quick goggle search
to see the vast field of what's available.
Renting! - avoid it if you can!
One of the best investments anyone can make, more so in the past 5
years is to buy their own house. I know mortgages can take a big bite
out of your income and it sometimes feels that your just giving your
money away, but far from it you are buying something piece by piece
which is slowly increasing in value! take for example you bought a
£200,000 house and put a 5% deposit on it of £10,000 so you would owe
£190,000 mortgage! In 10 years time that house could be worth £400,000
and you already own 5% of it plus the percentage of what you have been
paying off over the past 10 year, so now you would probably owe the
mortgage lender maybe £160,000 and you own a house which is worth
£400,000, so you have made an investment and now hold £240,000 in equity
(the value of the house). If you were renting you still wouldn't own the
property which you were in, instead you would spent 120 months of rent!
Currently property is one of the best safe investments you can make!
Although, as with any investment, its price can co down as well as up. |
